Job Description

• Oversee Production: Manage and optimize the pasta production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Production Planning: Develop and execute plans to meet production targets and delivery timelines.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead the production team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Equipment Management: Supervise the maintenance and operation of pasta production equipment, including extruders.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve workflows to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and ensure consistent product quality.
• Resource Management: Manage materials and inventory to support smooth production while minimizing costs.
• Report to the Board: Provide regular production updates to the Board of Directors, highlighting performance, challenges, and recommendations.
• Drive Innovation: Contribute to product development and process improvements to stay competitive in the market.

The Successful Applicant

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Industry Experience: At least 10 years of total experience including pasta production, with a strong background in managing extruder and factory operations.
• Production Expertise: In-depth knowledge of pasta production processes, including extrusion, production planning, quality control, and warehouse operations.
• Language Proficiency: Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to prepare reports and effectively communicate with senior management.
• ERP Systems: Experience with ERP software, particularly in the food production industry, for process optimization and resource management.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and process documentation.
• Planning and Organisation: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple production tasks and ensure efficient operations.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess production data, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize extrusion and production processes.
