Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carry out production according to the defined standards of process and take actions to improve the process.
• Conduct process optimization utilizing continuous improvement tools that improve cost, output, yields, uptime & quality.
• Support/ensure applicable engineering compliance with all ISO 9001 requirements, including continuous improvement projects.
• Solve short & long term process issues through solid root cause analysis & implement solutions.
• Plan, develop and realize autonomous maintenance programs in order to ensure compliance of machines.
• Ensure realization of planned production program.
• Ensure that material fields are within company standards.
• Develop work safety procedures, ensuring the team under supervision follows rules.
• Carry out criteria assessments and prepare reports for continuous improvement and performance follow up, present it to management, plan and implement necessary corrective-preventive actions.
• Determine training needs of operators.
• Improve the production methods for developing the quality of the packages & product.

What makes you a good fit

• University degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering departments.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the production field.
• Hands-on safety know-how and Lean Manufacturing methods knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean and/or TPM activities is preferred.
• Good command of the English language.
• Good level of MS Office knowledge.
• Self-motivated, with advanced communication skills & result-oriented.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
