We are looking for a Procurement Category Leader who will be based in İzmir and responsible for local/regional Indirect Material & Services Procurement activities in SSEA, CIS & MEA Region.

Your ‘Day To Day’

  1. You will be a trend setter and the subject matter expert in IM&S categories (Operations & WX, Technology & Professional Services, Marketing & Sales) developing local / regional strategic procurement plan by interacting with key partners, analysing category data and metrics to drive and deliver end-to-end category management practices in line with overall functional strategies.
  2. You will create collaborative relationships with stakeholders: understand their objectives and needs; guide them to generate value for business. Advise stakeholders on ways to add tangible value to their objectives and contribute to the bottom line; lead cross-functional projects to increase spend effectiveness or generate process improvements.
  3. You will execute local and regional strategies by engaging with internal cross-functional partners, building relationships with external suppliers and industry professionals while adhering to current processes and recommending improvements to standard processes, focusing on cost improvement and quality, and service levels. Master market and industry dynamics and manage to connect trends and solutions with PMI needs.
  4. You will be leading cost optimization projects and achieve significant negotiation savings year on year, implementing best practices, following through commitments from start to finish and removing barriers that get in the way of achieving the results, managing contract terms on the local/regional level, also lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process to ensure service reliability & continuous improvement.
  5. You will research, identify, and evaluate suppliers. Develop, execute, and analyse RFx’s and negotiations at local / regional Level, in line with Company Policy & Procedures.
  6. You will ensure systems data quality, continuously remove inconsistencies and anomalies in procurement tools to ensure data “serve its purpose”.
Who We’re Looking For

  1. Hold a university degree.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in ideally in procurement or supply chain with exposure to multinational environment, preferably within a FMCG company is a plus.
  3. Have strong communication & interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  4. Proficient in English and Turkish, other languages are a plus.
  5. Are collaborative, a team player, customer oriented and a quick learner.
  6. Proven Project Management Skills.
  7. Strategic thinking, strong analytical and negotiation skills.
