Job description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify target lists of new business prospects to contact and develop basically for Aerospace and Defence industry.
  • Provide efficient and effective planning and scheduling of the sales and delivery activities to facilitate the provision of high-quality environmental, health, and safety services for clients.
  • Support the commercial team on efficient data entry, sales planning, scheduling customer visits, and entering all workflow changes for clients, to ensure that sales activity is planned and monitored in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • Make cold calls to target prospects and qualify them for meetings.
  • Business development experience, including cold calling and research.
  • Experience with SalesForce or similar system.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a sales environment, preferably in Aerospace and Defence sector certification and training services sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability in closing business to business sales and win new customers.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in Turkish and English.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience of working in a KPI driven environment.

Candidate Specification:

  • Considerable experience of client-facing sales / new business development including experience of key account approaches and processes.
  • Demonstrable experience in building accounts in terms of new product development, client development and other forms of customer engagement.
  • Previous professional services sales experience with verifiable target achievement is desirable.
  • Experienced in working with a geographically widespread multifunctional team.
  • Ability to comprehend, manage and utilise complex financial data.
  • Exemplary presentational skills.
  • Comfortable operating at multiple levels in an organisation, including the Board.
