About Our Client

Our client is one of the largest global manufacturers in the Automotive Industry.

For their future development plans, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager for Turkey and Eastern Europe.

Job Description

  • Develop relationships with OEM and end-user customers, OEM Dealers, industry leaders, and channel partners to drive preference and share growth.
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue both conquest and retention sales opportunities in targeted segments.
  • Deliver a "value-focused" and consultative sales approach to customers by emphasizing technical, driven, aftermarket, and Total Cost of Ownership aspects.
  • Drive impactful teamwork and expertise from internal marketing, engineering, customer support, and aftermarket cross-functional teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Provide sales training and product/driver familiarization to channel partners and customers.
  • Build and coordinate customer engagement opportunities with a focus on targeted programs and initiatives while elevating relationship building with C-suite at customers, fleets, body-builders, dealers, and industry peers.
  • Represent the company at specific industry events, trade shows, OEM meetings, and associations.
  • Engage with distributors and dealers in the selected region.
  • Optimally use available CRM (Salesforce) and other sales tools to manage, track, and report sales, opportunities, and programs.
  • Facilitate successful onboarding of new hires with internal business partners, intermediaries, and customers.
  • Support the Regional Director as a backup for coordinating and leading team meetings.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to implement the company's strategy in the field.

The Successful Applicant

  • Fluent in English / Native Turkish speaker.
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of industry work experience OR a recognized Associate's Degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant industry work experience.
  • Proven success in driving sales/share growth, customer acquisition, or retention by working directly with customers and/or channel partners.
  • Ability to optimally present both technical and commercial aspects of business opportunities.
  • Preferred prior industry experience (B2B, Commercial Vehicle OEM, components, service provider).
  • Value-selling experience.
  • Preferred experience in working with Salesforce CRM.
