Application Scientist II

We are looking for an Application Scientist to join our team and support the business. This position is a key member of the Sensient team, where you will be required to push boundaries and add value onsite in our office in Gebze (DOSB), Turkey, 5 days per week.

What you’ll do:

1. Select and evaluate the right flavors and solutions in compliance with legal, client, and application requirements.
2. Work in close collaboration with account managers, marketing teams, and other departments.
3. Understand the commercial needs of the brief, the value, and other criteria.
4. Prepare and lead client's technical presentations.
5. Develop product concepts and promotions for customers with Technical and Marketing Teams.

What you’ll bring:

1. Master's or bachelor's degree in chemistry or food engineering.
2. Minimum 3 years working experience in the flavor industry.
3. Experience with various confectionery and bakery applications and recipes is preferred.
4. Fluent Turkish and English skills (written and spoken).
