Job Description

• Develop and maintain advanced mobile applications for the Android platform, utilizing the latest technologies and frameworks to maximize application performance and reliability.
• Work closely with design and product teams to ideate, build, test, and launch new features that meet our high-quality standards.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, addressing potential problems and implementing solutions promptly.
• Debug and resolve application bugs prior to release, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Oversee the application release process on Google Play, including adherence to Google's guidelines and policies.
• Maintain and enhance code integrity, structure, and automate the Android application development lifecycle.
• Guide the development and implementation of app updates to improve functionality and the user experience.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Android app development, with a portfolio of released applications on Google Play.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java, and familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and other relevant technologies.
• Deep understanding of Android frameworks like LiveData and Room, and the ability to apply third-party libraries and APIs.
• Knowledge of Android back-end services, cloud message APIs, and push notifications to support the development of complex, scalable apps.
• Strong grasp of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines, with the skills to create functional and visually appealing mobile interfaces.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools and CI/CD practices.
• Comprehensive experience with the full mobile development lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and support.
• Understanding of security practices, including SSL Security and Android Keystore.
• Knowledge of technical English is a must-have.
