They are looking for a Safety Officer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in the engineering and construction industry, particularly in workplace safety management, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation within infrastructure, building, or industrial project environments. The Job

• Monitor and enforce workplace safety regulations, ensuring compliance with WSH Act and statutory requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections, implement safety procedures, and mitigate risks to maintain a safe work environment.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and training sessions to promote a strong safety culture.
• Administer and implement safety policies, including risk assessments and internal audits for compliance.
• Ensure safe material handling, inspecting deliveries and arranging necessary testing as required.

The Talent

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Construction with WSHO registration from MOM.
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant safety experience in the engineering or construction industry.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, risk management, and work-at-height safety.
• Strong knowledge of site safety inspections, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
• Immediate availability or short notice preferred.
