Job description
  1. Actively conduct risk assessments at the project site and recommend measures to minimize and eliminate possible risks to any person.
  2. Report on health and safety issues to the Project Manager which includes preparing incident and loss statistics and monthly summary reports.
  3. Work closely with different teams to implement and maintain a strong safety regime on site.
  4. Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure the permit to work system in place.
  5. Ensure project's compliance with all Singapore statutory requirements for Health, Safety and Environment at all times.
  6. Reporting to the WSH Manager, you will liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites.
  7. Preparation and implementation of Safety Program.
  8. Ensure all work practices comply with company safety policy and WSH act.
  9. Advise on Work Plan / Risk Assessment / Safe Work Procedures.
  10. Ability to identify problems and provide solutions.
  11. Able to lead fellow colleagues and inculcate them towards a safe work culture.
  12. Compile all relevant reports and records, carry out daily safety inspections.
  13. Prepare and submit weekly safety reports as required by management and clients.
  14. Participate and involve in ISO implementation and audit.
  15. Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager.
