Workplace Safety & Health Officer [Construction /M&E /Logistics] - East/West

Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and support to the Project Manager on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) matters.

• Lead the safety team in implementing and monitoring EHS plans and measures to ensure compliance.

• Organize safety activities and programs to promote awareness and a safety-first mindset among site personnel.

• Conduct risk assessments at project sites and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate or eliminate risks.

• Foster a strong safety culture within the organization to achieve health and safety targets collectively.

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company safety policies, and industry best practices.

• Maintain and monitor the implementation of a safe and healthy working environment.

• Oversee the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) management system.

• Manage and conduct safety audits at project sites to ensure adherence to safety standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support EHS objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Master’s in Engineering (HSE) or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.

• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally and responsively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
