We are seeking a Workplace Safety & Health Officer to ensure the development, implementation, and oversight of health and safety programs and policies within our organization.
Key accountabilities include:
Maintain safety & health standards in accordance with the WSH Act and WSH legislative requirements
Understanding and compliance with statutory requirements and client’s expectation.
Establish and review the project-specific Safety Management System.
Develop, review, and maintain Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and other relevant legal HSE documents for the main contractor, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
Administer safety & health records in line with company’s accreditation (bizSAFE Star) and participate in ISO 9001 implementation and audits.
Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB, and other relevant authorities on WSH-related matters as applicable.
Conduct investigations to accidents and incidents, interview affected parties and also implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrence
Organise and ensure safety and health talks and toolbox meetings are conducted for all personnel on site.
Organize safety campaign and training based on safe work procedures and risk assessments to enhance greater EHS Culture.
Maintain the company and workers' PPE, tools, and equipment register.
Ensure all facilities and equipment are in proper working condition and meet health and safety requirements.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Management team
Requirements:
Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WHSO)
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in construction (ID trade)
