Workplace Safety And Health Manager

Job Description:

1. Advise management on EHS legal and other requirements, including their changes.
2. Ensure compliance with legal requirements such as the WSH Act and WSH (Construction) Regulations.
3. Review the company's safety performance and formulate measures to achieve continuous improvement.
4. Review company safety resources and provide recommendations to management to meet EHS requirements.
5. Arrange with senior management and liaise with projects to conduct monthly safety site walks.
6. Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by the Project/Site Manager.

Requirements:

1. Accredited WSHO and ECO with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
2. Possess a Diploma in Engineering or Environmental Health and Safety.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
4. Capable of leading WSHOs, offering supervision, guidance, and instructions to all safety personnel.
5. Sound understanding of government regulations pertaining to Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental domains.
6. Well-versed in OSH/ISO documentation.
