Welding Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

As a skilled Welding Specialist at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing welding and bench fitting repair on aero engine hardware, adhering to approved manuals and repair documents. You will meet drawing and weld specifications requirements using various air tools, shop equipment, and hand tools.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 3-5 years of welding experience in various materials. You must be able to interpret blueprint drawings and use aircraft component manuals and/or publications. A strong team player with good interpersonal communication skills is also required. Additionally, you must be committed to working in a welding environment and have a good understanding of 5S and TPM concepts. Basic computer skills are a must, with knowledge of SAP preferred. Experience with Six Sigma and Lean tools is a plus, and you must have at least a NTC certificate or higher and be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Current certification in TIG Welding and the ability to achieve ASTM D17.1 and CAAS SAR requirements are also advantageous.
