Web Developer

The Web Developer will be responsible for full-stack development for internal & external projects and research aligned with our clients' business goals. This person will need to foster a strong working relationship internally with the Account Management and creative/production team as well as externally with clients on the approval of projects. The ideal candidate has to be hands-on, agile, creative, disciplined and highly motivated to deliver the best for the clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in web development.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Gather requirements and create the technical architecture required to implement the requirement
2. Build and enhance the web applications to support and digitalize the processes
3. Develop and implement of WordPress or equivalent websites
4. Customize WordPress themes and templates according to client requirements
5. Optimize websites for performance, speed, and search engine optimization (SEO)
6. Perform development, maintenance, update, conduct thorough testing, quality assurance of websites and applications, including content management
7. Troubleshoot and debug issues related to website functionality and usability
8. Collaborate with the design team to ensure a seamless user experience
9. Maintain secure coding standards and implement scalable applications
10. Evaluate and provide solutions & technical feedback on project requirements
11. Ensure security of the applications on the internet & intranet are not compromised and no vulnerabilities
12. Upgrade all the script and supporting libraries to latest versions with no vulnerabilities time to time
13. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in web development
14. Pick up skill sets from team mates on digital content, social media pages management

Requirement

1. At least a Diploma in Computer Science or other related fields
2. Minimum of 3-year related experience
3. Strong knowledge of WordPress and its ecosystem or equivalent
4. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
5. Familiarity with other equivalent website platforms is a plus
6. Great understanding of web development principles and techniques
7. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
8. Possess good analytical and communication skills
