Waste Water Treatment Technician (West)

• Carry out the routine daily work in PUB water and waste water treatment facility.
• Check all the control parameter setting as the written specification and work instruction.
• Check sufficient stock of chemical to facilitate smooth production flow.
• Carry out corrective and preventive action on quality and environmental non-conformance.
• Check and maintain the DI system and PUB incoming water system.
• Participate relevant in-house quality and environmental training programs.
• Follow and maintain quality and environmental document/work instruction/procedure/records in waste water treatment as evident of conformance to quality and EMS requirements.
• Maintain/meet pH level of discharge rinse water and scrubber exhaust system according to NEA requirement.
• Ensure that disposal of chemical waste is placed in a safety bag.
• Maintain/monitor the underground sump system.
• Participate in the training of emergency response team for chemical spillage and be a team member of ERT.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the superior.

Requirements

• Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Process Technology, and Environmental & Water Technology or related qualifications.
• Related working experience is an added advantage.
• Transport provided in Jurong East MRT.
• Leave entitlement starts from 10 days up to 16 days.
• Working days are 6/5 days (Alternate Sat), entitled AWS.
