Receiving and Processing Stock: Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products to ensure they meet purchase requirements. Verify and check orders for accuracy, ensuring correct materials and quantities are loaded or delivered. Include issuing duties and coordinating transportation.
Order Preparation: Picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or pickup to customers or vendors.
Inventory Management: Perform inventory controls by keeping thorough inventory records, conducting frequent stock counts, and updating systems to ensure the accuracy and tally of system and physical quantities.
Safety and Cleanliness: Assist with maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Store and organize raw materials, parts, and finished goods in designated locations.
Equipment Operation: Operate company vehicles, such as trucks, vans, and warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and sawing machines, in a safe and efficient manner. Transport materials and finished goods safely.
Reporting: Log inventory discrepancies and communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
Operational Excellence Initiatives: Participate in 5S and continuous improvement projects.
Compliances: Adhere to health, safety, and regulatory guidelines. Ensure hazardous materials are handled and stored according to safety regulations.
Requirements
Experience: Proven working experience as a warehouse worker.
Skills: Proficiency in basic MS Office, SAP MM (preferred), and utilization of warehouse management systems.
Physical Ability: Ability to perform manual work, including lifting heavy objects and general picking in a large warehouse.
Licenses: Current forklift license (preferred). A Class 3 license and 3 years of driving experience in Singapore.
Education: NITEC and above or relevant certification in warehouse management.
