Warehouse Operations Supervisor - Jurong Island

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of warehouse operators and supervise all movements of physical and system of the warehouse.
2. Oversee all aspects of inventory control efforts including daily cycle count.
3. Ensure incoming receiving and local orders/collection, including SAP and documentation are delivered accurately and timely.
4. Liaise with customers for all documentation and other daily operational matters.
5. Monitor warehouse productivity, identify areas of improvement and drive cost control initiatives.
6. Maintain 5S cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse.
7. Oversee daily warehouse and administration operations.
8. Ensure the highest level of safety, productivity, and customer service with a constant focus on cost and efficient use of labour.
9. Determine work procedures and prepare work schedules, analyze production errors and recommend/implement corrective action for assigned shifts.
10. Ensure that reports, billing and labour payrolls are timely and accurate.
11. Have responsibility for safe and efficient use of facility equipment.
12. Communicate with Operations Manager regarding daily operational issues and events. Report directly to the Manager.
13. Meet customer and company key performance metrics, goals and objectives.
14. Foster a team environment within the facility and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
15. Manage, evaluate, and mentor warehouse colleagues.
16. Provide training and safety briefing to operations staff.

Requirements:

1. Degree/Diploma preferably in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and/or Industrial Engineering.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse and logistics.
3. Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills.
4. Self-motivated and results-oriented.
5. Good knowledge of SAP system.
6. Proficient in MS Office.
7. Willing to travel to Jurong Island and Pioneer worksites.
8. Candidates with more years of experience can be considered for the Senior Supervisor role.
