Warehouse Manager (Tuas)

• Location: Tuas West

• Working hours: 08:00 to 17:45 (Monday to Friday)

• Bonus and allowances provided

Job responsibilities:

• Lead the entire warehouse department with management
• Understand management policy and implement measures on each site to achieve it
• Integrate the manager’s opinion and develop a warehouse strategy plan
• Collaborate with other sections to achieve common warehouse department targets
• Maintain discipline to improve employee retention rates and manage the workplace to create a comfortable working environment
• Consider adequate BCP to avoid disrupting warehouse and CSR operations
  
  (Sales achievement)
• Commit to warehouse sales and profit targets
• Plan cost-saving solutions and continuous improvement for operational productivity
• Maximize warehouse storage and grow income to improve profitability
  
  (Safety and Quality)
• Ensure safety and quality in warehouse operations
• Plan warehouse operation improvements to maintain higher levels of customer satisfaction
• Plan for efficiency in the warehouse using technology and innovation
• Analyze the root cause of operational failures to improve safety and quality performance
  
  (Labor management)
• Plan manpower resources
• Evaluate staff and perform necessary management and supervision duties
• Plan and conduct training for staff to enhance performance and maximize organizational effectiveness
  
  (In general)
• Answer customer queries on a day-to-day basis
• Supervise operations managers to meet customer requirements
• Provide solutions to satisfy customer demands
• Attend KPI meetings with clients
• Support junior managers in operations
• Adopt a hands-on approach
• Perform any other duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• Around 10 years of experience is required
• Experience in management in warehouses
• Experience in the same industry is a great advantage
• Knowledge and experience in medical, pharmaceutical, and food-related certification standards is also a great advantage
• Must be patient, flexible, and a good motivator
• Ability to work under pressure
