Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee all daily warehouse activities, ensuring optimal performance, productivity, and adherence to operational guidelines. Coordinate and manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
Inventory Control: Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels and supervise regular stock counts. Implement systems to minimize discrepancies, ensure proper documentation, and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Staff Supervision & Development: Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance. Schedule work assignments, monitor progress, and address any performance issues. Foster a culture of teamwork, efficiency, and safety.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the customer experience. Develop and manage KPIs to measure performance against company goals.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse. Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and transportation partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Manage the inbound and outbound logistics process, including transportation planning and documentation.
Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to cost control measures. Optimize warehouse costs without compromising service quality.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, order fulfillment, and any operational challenges. Maintain accurate documentation for inventory, shipments, and staff activities.
Requirements
Degree in Logistic Engineering or relevant discipline
Minimum 5-10 years of experience working on Logistic Engineering projects, Warehouse facility setup and managing Logistic Engineering teams
Demonstrated success in driving process improvements in warehouse operations and service delivery.
Experience in facility management is an added advantage
Leadership quality, ability to negotiate and work effectively within MNC environment.
Highly motivated and action oriented individual, ability to hands-on when needed.
Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of problem solving tools e.g. 6 Sigma, Lean, FMEA is preferred
Well versed in WMS e.g. SAP
Strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
