The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage and distribution of products. This role requires to work closely with Logistics Manager to lead a team of operations team, optimizing processes to maintain safety, productivity and cost effectiveness within the warehouse.

People Management
Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and its warehouse team to ensure all daily tasks are carried out in a high quality and efficient way.
Provide leadership, guidance, training, to team members on daily warehouse operational process, taking care of warehouse team’s overall motivation, discipline, and improvement.
Final approval for leaves of Warehouse Supervisor and the warehouse team members.
Responsible for Warehouse team’s KPI performance and appraisal.
Operation Responsibility
Act as first tier escalation on warehouse operational and/or quality issues. Attending to such escalation to resolve customer’s concerns and carry out corrective actions with the warehouse operations & admin team.
Planning and monitoring the warehouse operation, ensuring all orders are carried out in accordance to customer’s SLA, following GW standards and meeting defined KPIs.
Ensure SOP, safety (WSH) and security policies of the warehouse are strictly followed.
Ensure inventory accuracy standards are met in accordance with customer’s SLA.
Work with respective vendors on operational arrangements/topics (i.e. freight, transport, fumigation, packing materials).
Work in close cooperation with Process Manager on solutions to guarantee continuous improvement, compliance with GW standards and core values.
Ensure warehouse 5S conditions are met.
Ensure warehouse direct costs/OTs are properly justified.
Optimization of warehouse space and resources.
Support new project/customer preparation and implementation.
Responsible for supporting Tradefirst Assessment.
Other additional tasks assigned by Logistics Manager.
Administrative Responsibility
Responsible for all warehouse tools/equipment/renovation/reinstatement sourcing and purchasing, requesting alternative quotations from various vendors for Logistics Manager’s approval.
Experienced in Handling Dangerous Goods (DG) management.
Arrange warehouse equipment servicing/calibration when necessary.
Work with Process Manager to draft quotations for new business as required.
Assist Admin team on MMR billing report when necessary.
Monthly OT & MMR report preparation for Logistics Manager’s approval.

At least 3 years of people management experience.
Proven warehouse management experience.

Good analytical skills and ability to understand P/L to make calculated proposals or decisions, along with great interpersonal skills.
