The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching goods.
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming deliveries, inspect for damage or discrepancies and report where necessary.
Organize and store products efficiently, ensuring proper labelling, stock rotation, and space utilization.
Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overstocking to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Participate in regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
Order Processing and Packing in accurate fulfilment and timely manner to support production schedules and customer demands.
Prepare goods for shipment, ensuring accurate labelling and documentation (e.g., packing lists, shipping labels).
Coordinate with logistics partners to schedule pickups and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE and safe handling of equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and facilitate smooth operations.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
Suggest and implement improvements to warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned.
Job Requirement
GCE 'N' or 'O' level and above.
Prior experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sector, is an advantage.
Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery (certification is a bonus).
