Warehouse Assistant (F&B), Singapore

As an Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for warehousing activities including loading and unloading, account physical receipt from vendors/suppliers, sampling of incoming materials, accurate issuance of materials to respective Production teams and perform timely outbound deliveries. You will be required to carry up to 25kg of materials and operate material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, stacker, reach truck, pallet jacks) to transport incoming raw materials and finished goods to designated areas. You are expected to commit 2 weekly rotating shifts and comfortable working in a strong smelling environment. Lastly, you will establish and maintain a continuous effective support in the daily warehousing, production and supply chain operation, implicating the support to the production output.

The Position:

• Perform and account for physical receipt of materials from vendors/ suppliers.
• To perform sampling of incoming materials and put away to designated storage.
• Carry out timely and accurate picking & issuance of materials to productions
• Discharging of ISO Tanker into storage tanks
• To support transfer of materials between productions and warehouse / 3PL.
• To liaise with other departments as and when required.
• Ensure and carry out timely and accurate system inventory transactions.
• Ensure compliance of rules and regulations stated by the organization.
• Perform periodic cycle count and annual stock take.
• Ensure good housekeeping and compliance to workplace safety practices.
• Any other duties as and when assigned.
  

The Ideal Candidate:

• GCE N/O Level or equivalent with at least 1 year of working experience in Warehousing.
• Several years of working experience in relevant industry will be an added advantage.
• Mandatory to attain valid SG forklift licence
• Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage (Applicable to SG / SGPR only)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and email.
• Experience in SAP is an added advantage
• At least limited working proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
• A team player with positive attitude, independent and committed.
• Meticulous, structured and aptitude to learn.
• Able to carry up to 25 kg and withstand strong smelling environment
• Willing to work weekly rotating shift and public holidays (if required)
