Warehouse Assistant - Your future position?

Location: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8

Reporting to: Warehouse Manager

Main Responsibilities

Supporting Receiving and Outbound Activities

1. Daily loading and unloading cargo from the incoming/outgoing trucks and verifying the goods at the warehouse area. This task involves physically checking and sorting batches and quantities in several sizes from the suppliers’ pallets to internal plastic pallets. Report any discrepancies, damages, and daily delivery-related matters.
2. Perform inbound RM/packaging and paste internal labeling for sample packages for inbound/pallet of the inbound/outbound cargo.
3. Perform outbound loading of finished goods and loading/stuffing of cargo into containers for export.
4. Draw sample following sample drawing instruction’s request. If additional samples are required by QC, repack and weigh the required quantity at the marketing sampling room. This task involves the physical transfer by trolley from the main warehouse to the marketing sampling room and submitting samples to the warehouse office for proper system deduction and labeling before handing over to QC.
5. Transfer goods into storage locations. Operate VNAT machine (Narrow aisle truck) in the main warehouse for storage/retrieving for export.
6. Check FG transfer from production for palletizing, carton packing, and put away to racking location.
7. Palletize and shrink wrap received finished goods to the main warehouse.

Warehouse Inventory Management and Replenishment

1. Put away receipt raw material from suppliers, affiliates, Woodlands base transfer, and the regional distribution center to warehouse bin locations.
2. Material put away to cold room and refrigerated storage location.
3. Attention to re-sampling requests from QC, monthly shelf life retest sample pull, and QC reference request.
4. Pick and repack raw material from the warehouse for exporting to affiliate companies.
5. Issue material to marketing sampling unit. Pick materials from location, carry, and put it on trolley and send to the marketing lab, returning material to the main warehouse after use.
6. Optimize warehouse space by transferring material to free standing area.
7. Cycle count for inventory.
8. Daily inspection for allergen storage compliance with food safety requirements.
9. Daily housekeeping and 5S storage in the warehouse.
10. Support Kanban system on packaging material to production, like wood pallet, PE bag, cartons, and drums.

Main Requirements

1. Must have a Singapore issued forklift license.
