Responsibilities

• Service all Buy side Institutional clients and provide best execution services to them.
• Support Equity sales team as we are rolling out more products – PB clients, corporate share buybacks, DMA/DSA coverage, OTC bond, Share financing etc.
• Anticipate and proactively communicate market-moving news to stakeholders throughout the trading day. This includes preparing a pre-market news summary and providing timely updates on breaking news impacting trading decisions.
• Sales Trading & execute regional orders for all clients including our regional offices i.e. HK, Thailand, US and UK.
• Also assist in executing and reporting overseas trades e.g. Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, US & EU markets etc. for all our regional offices.
• Participate in various projects including trading system upgrade, process automation to enhance work efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree / professional qualification of CFA an advantage with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience with knowledge in Equity Execution.
• Professional certifications - preferably a Licensed Trading Representative with SGX / MAS i.e. possess CMFAS certification (M1, M5, M6, M6A).
• Driven, hungry and highly motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in trading equity with basic understanding of Trading Systems both in a high touch and low touch environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Trading Order Management Systems, Bloomberg, MS Office suites i.e. Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Effective communication skills, able to liaise with team members, clients and stakeholders.
• Meticulous and analytical with attention to detail and ability to cope well under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
