Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the leadership team in Asia-Pacific to support the strategic business plan for Hotel Investment Sales across Asia, building off the team’s existing track record and expertise.
  • Develop deep relationships with key strategic clients and stakeholders across the Asian market with a focus on lead generation for investment sales assignments in the region.
  • Lead and execute Hotel Investment Sales mandates overseeing in all material aspects the pre-marketing preparation, marketing and closing processes.
  • Revenue responsibility for the Asia market with a particular focus on hotel investment sales mandates in South East Asia and the Indian Ocean region.
  • Support wider regional investment sales team initiatives across APAC.
  • Accountable for data management and retention, and the adoption of the JLL Global Valuation Model and other JLL proprietary models.
  • Play a key role in business development, new client acquisition, and client retention across all the services which JLL Hotels & Hospitality team provides, including advisory, asset management and development services.
  • Work seamlessly with the wider global JLL Asia Pacific team to deliver advisory services for regional clients, as well as managing outbound relationships for investment activity.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the JLL capital markets teams in Asia Pacific to drive revenue growth for the Hotels & Hospitality Group, and aim to build a strong referral network for the wider Asian business.
  • Actively promote your personal profile and that of JLL in the industry, acting as a trusted advisor to key clients and building a strong personal network.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in real estate and/or hospitality advisory and/or commercial real estate investment
  • Goal-orientated with excellent self-motivation and team leadership capability
  • Superior communication skills coupled with a balanced technical knowledge and good commercial acumen
  • Strong academic ability and agility accompanied by financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Superior presentation skills in design and delivery
  • A solid understanding of marketing and sales techniques with demonstrable expertise in a sales oriented role.
  • Highly diplomatic, with gravitas and an ability to relate well to professionals at all levels, internally and externally
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality investment, valuation, acquisition, development, and working knowledge of asset management processes as well as financing
  • Willingness to travel regionally
  • Ability to communicate professionally in English
