About This Role

Internal Communications and events outreach of Group Technology COO function is primarily responsible for ensuring communications and engagements relating to change initiatives meet objectives of employee adoption and usage. The role is responsible for content creation for communication activities, planning and executing activities with a focus on the people side of change, to bring employees along the changes to minimize resistance. The role also supports other Group Technology COO led events to drive overall Group Technology employee engagement. This role requires working closely with the stakeholders within Group Tech, and relevant functions across the bank to achieve the outcomes.


Responsibilities


Content & Campaign Management


  1. Deliver pivotal pieces on behalf of the CIO/COO office and beyond.
  2. Deliver content including slides, social media posts, and articles that reflect the senior management strategy and thoughts.
  3. Develop targeted content relating to projects requiring change management to drive employee adoption and usage, and minimize employee resistance.
  4. Independently work with stakeholders across the bank, to suggest story formats and convert them into articles.
  5. Establish an internal communications strategy for Group Tech to drive effective change and adoption, demonstrating a deep understanding of the company to program levels goals and values.
  6. Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to enhance Tech COO Comms and Engagement team’s value offering.
  7. Responsible for end-to-end management of marketing campaign strategies from planning to execution, and working with multiple teams and vendors to ensure change initiatives meet objectives of employee adoption and usage.
  8. Improve campaign performance through analytics and a deep understanding of the available levers internally.

Event Management, Outreach and Engagement Initiatives


  1. Develop and execute internal engagement strategy to drive the Group Tech agenda of driving effective change and adoption.
  2. Work with the different teams to build events from the ground up.
  3. Work with and guide team members on building and utilizing existing and new channels for maximum impact to raise awareness of projects– both through creatives and messaging.
  4. Lead and own communication and engagement projects to ensure end-to-end successful completion of work.
  5. Define success metrics and ensure effectiveness of initiatives in driving employee awareness, desire, and knowledge in the changes.
  6. Focus on seamless execution and maximize participation and outcomes (relating to success metrics) for all events.

Team and Work Management


  1. Work with a team of highly engaged and inspired members, delivering at optimum potential.
  2. Manage team members, putting into practice a fair and balanced distribution of workload while ensuring campaigns are run smoothly.
  3. Business management skills including finances, budgeting, etc.
  4. End-to-end management of vendors and budgets.

Requirements

  1. Internal communications professional with 6-10 years of experience who has led corporates to effectively cascade group messages and deliver extensive marketing campaigns that engage employees.
  2. Adept at collaborating and managing multiple stakeholders. Able to understand business priorities and effectively build campaigns that can drive results.
  3. Experience in working in the intense work environments of a Public Relations/Communications firm, managing multiple deliverables/campaigns effortlessly.
  4. With a proven flair for writing corporate and consumer pieces that create interest and drive curiosity amongst readers.
  5. Experience in Change Management framework e.g. ADKAR, communications and marketing campaigns is a must.
  6. Candidate with experience in working on Change Management and Technology content would be valued.
