Job description

The Project Manager / BA will work in tandem with a highly talented group of implementation consultants, software developers and project support resources to design, configure and deploy their best-of-breed Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) software solution.

Roles

  • Managing the requirements lifecycle: Ensure that requirements/user stories are prioritised based on their value, complexity, and feasibility, ensuring that the most critical items are delivered first.
  • Developing project plans, managing schedule, timelines, resources and budget.
  • Preparing project status updates and MIS reports to various stakeholders.
  • Managing entire project lifecycles including design, development, testing, and implementation. Guiding project resources and driving key milestones across a portfolio of concurrent customer software implementation initiatives, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Gathering and documenting requirements: Gather, review, analyse, validate, evaluate, and map business systems, processes and user needs and translate them into requirements/user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Managing stakeholders: Engage, inform and negotiate with stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements and prioritise them.
  • Analysing and modelling: Analyse documents, programs, logic, process flows and specifications. Model the requirements using a range of techniques such as process mapping, story mapping, user stories and acceptance criteria, business rules.

The Project Manager will ideally bring to the table:

  • Min 12 years of IT experience with min 5+ years experience in project management within corporate technology environments.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HR/Payroll, HRIS, HCM or WFM enterprise software / SaaS solutions.
  • Ability to work on and collaborate between multiple programs of work.
  • Experience in developing, tracking and following up of project plans and stakeholder tasks across the portfolio.
  • Project management documentation and coordination skills.
  • Business domain knowledge in financial services is preferred.
  • Strong PM capabilities in time, cost, scope, quality reporting and governance.
  • Ability to lead multiple project teams across diverse platform deployments.
  • Great stakeholder management skills across internal project, executive management, third party provider and customer resources.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
