Business Function
Global Financial Markets Operations - (GFMO) operates as a Regional Processing Center (Hub & Spoke) supporting GFM businesses in the region. The hub and spoke model allow GFM business to scale up while remaining agile in product and service offerings in the fast, evolving market environment. As GFM business expands product offerings in the region coupled with the dynamic regulatory environment, GFM Ops leverages on this unique advantage to continue to standardize processes to manage processing risk and to facilitate automation as well as governance of service level and quality.
Staff is given opportunities to undertake Ops Excellence Team (OET) support role, exposure to engage with the LOB managers in GFMO, and stakeholders in other Business Unit. Co-create and co-partner in our continual pursuit towards Ops Excellence and Quality.
Responsibilities
- Thinkstrategically in the pursuit of DBS’ Business intent, deliver Ops Excellence / Analytics visualization Dashboard to integrate into GFMO Workbench, in line with the objectives of the Firm
- Prepare and provide monthly Service Level performance score card for the purpose of driving Ops excellence and quality
- Review legacy processes and exception handling to eliminate toil in processes and cultivate FO changing behaviour
- Be Data driven, measure GFMO Performance Service and Quality Level via DDOM (Data Driven Operating Model) Dashboards
- Drive Digitalization on STP Initiatives between GFM and GFMO, OPPR digital adoption track and Legacy Reviews
- Understand levers and drivers to drive performances and ways to improve Digital Adoption
- Provide Analytic insights and identify opportunities for OET Roadmap
- Conduct partnership engagement forum with Business Unit and facilitates initiatives discussion between Business Partners, Tech, Regional Mgrs and Ops
- Manage standardization and deviation management across regional entities
- Front to Back Review of Ops Effectiveness and Value capture
- Point of contact for Regional Engagement, Stakeholder engagement and Change Management
- Embraces PRIDE, communicates and share information with the team, promotes team collegiality
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Able to drive innovation, and proven track record in driving service level success
- Critical thinking, analytical, ability to work independently, organized and have a problem-solving mindset, ability to design analytical dashboards
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking and ability to articulate with strong presentation skills
- Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Embraces PRIDE, communicates, and share information with the team, promotes team collegiality
