Job Title: Visual Merchandising Intern

About The Role

We are actively looking for a Visual Merchandising Intern to be based in Singapore. Your primary role will be to ensure visual merchandising efficiency within Travel Retail Asia Pacific focusing on Promotional and Permanent Merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist development of new counter guideline and planograms from current template to cover full configurations for all portfolios (Fragrances, Make-Up and Skincare brands)
  2. Assist Visual Merchandiser Executive with multi-brand material board approval
  3. Raising quotations
  4. Deployment of POSM from SG warehouse for new launches
  5. Source for props/tools needed for permanent counter and temporary promotions in line with brands guidelines
  6. Support when necessary, on permanent and temporary projects

What You’ll Bring

ESSENTIAL:
  1. Undergraduates who can commit for at least 6 months (Jan to Jun 2025) for a full-time internship.
  2. Skilled in the use of MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. For Visual Merchandising Interns, skilled in the use of Adobe Creative cloud will be a plus.
  3. Self-motivated and self-starter, with a strong work ethic and a sense of confidentiality.
  4. Possesses cross-cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence.
  5. Articulate, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Good balance of a professional attitude while having fun.
  7. Strong interest in consumer goods, makeup and beauty products.
  8. Strong desire to learn along with a strong sense of ownership.
  9. Persuasive, resilient and flexible, able to easily adapt to new challenges.
  10. Passionate, enthusiastic and driven to regularly follow-up with loose ends.
  11. Able to thrive despite challenges while adopting a positive attitude under pressure.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
  1. Planogram Development: Adapt and develop from Global guideline with a strong understanding in optimising product placement and enhancing shopping experience for travellers in Asia Pacific.
  2. Design Proficiency: Learn and understand the basic proficiency in visual design principles and techniques.
  3. Retail Strategy Alignment: Understand how visual merchandising contributes to overall retail strategies, including the ability to align visual displays with the store's branding, product positioning and target audience.
