Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide excellent Visitor Experience and ensure the smooth running of the daily operations at MBS Attractions (Museum, SkyPark, Sampan Rides and Digital Light Canvas).
  2. Engage visitors in a positive and professional manner while proactively promoting the various Attractions.
  3. Proactively work in (but not exclusive to) the main admissions and all public areas of the various Attractions as deployed.
  4. Assist visitors with enquiries and where applicable directing them to the appropriate source of information.
  5. Provide guidance to all casual staff in visitor engagement and operations.
  6. Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Service Quality Review Standards (SQR) of the Attractions.
  7. Be equipped with good product knowledge of all offerings available to visitors.
  8. When deployed at the museum, ensure that artifacts are safeguarded.
  9. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness at all workstations, whilst complying with all health and safety standards.
  10. Project a professional presence, both verbally and in appearance, always.
  11. Perform shift duties responsibly and be accountable to the Assistant Manager/Manager for the smooth running of the day-to-day shift operations and any other duties assigned.
  12. Handle attractions bookings, ticket sales and events.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  1. Secondary education preferred.

Experience

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry will be an advantage.

Other Prerequisites

  1. Excellent guest relations and communication skills.
  2. Keen to work in the Attractions industry, with a passion for learning and people engagement.
  3. Must have a fair command of spoken and written English.
  4. Motivated with high energy, and able to appreciate a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  5. Able to apply good judgment and discretion while maintaining a calm demeanor in high volume or stressful situations.
  6. Enjoy working with people of all ages.
  7. Well-groomed and professional disposition.
  8. A team player who is organized and can work with minimum supervision.
  9. Able to speak in front of groups.
