Vice President, T24 Project/Delivery Lead (Job ID: 10069288)

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of Engineering Lead with proven knowledge and implementation experience in digital transformation areas such as Core Banking Transformation, application tuning and DevOps within Information Technology Department under Systems Office for Asia.

The successful candidate will be part of a growing dynamic regional team providing business solutions for digital transformation projects. You will be supporting the Bank’s initiatives in Core Banking technology, working with the team to refine IT project delivery practices, adhere to Systems Management Procedures, and enhance software development and IT operations best practices in partnership with stakeholders from IT and Business functions.

As a key member of the team, he/she will also support other functions across strategy, process design, infrastructure & enterprise architecture, IT security and risk governance.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead Core Banking (Temenos T24 transact) program/project and initiatives in Asia System Office (ASO). Plan and oversee T24 developments and identification of systems requirements.
2. Manage the gathering and assessing of technical requirements to be translated into technical design documents for T24. Recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
3. Provide T24 technical and functional guidance and hands-on support, including but not limited to the following activities:
1. Review and ensure Systems Management Procedures are adhered to, follow up with respective parties to ensure compliance and governance.
2. Provide technical expertise and advice to the team throughout systems implementation stages and during incident investigation.
3. Manage the open issues and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner. (Root cause analysis, temporary workaround, permanent fix)
4. Draft project plans and manage the project timeline especially for technical phases.
5. Review existing IT platform build, developed processes, system performance, potential bottlenecks; provide improvement plan progressively.
6. Technical implementation and best use of TEMENOS Client services tools.
7. Interface fine tuning and improve interface performance.
8. Improve exception handling. Develop program to handle failure scenarios.
4. Oversee the preparation of communications and make presentations to stakeholders on opportunities and constraints of processes and systems.
5. Deal with senior stakeholders (including external vendors) and drive the technical issue management meeting.

Job Requirements:

1. Min 14 years of experience in software development, application support, especially in the area of Core banking with project management and stakeholder management.
2. Experience in core banking with T24 Technical and Functional Area and Development experience.
3. Experience in Project Life Cycle from inception, analysis, development, testing and implementation with SDLC methodologies and Agile experience.
4. Strong stakeholder experience.
5. Strong team management experience of large team size, especially offshore development centre.
6. Experience in managing mid-large sized T24 projects and ability to work with senior stakeholders and distributed teams.
7. Possesses experience and acts as a Subject Matter Expert with good knowledge in the following:
8. Experience in core banking (preferred T24 Technical and Functional Area and Development experience).
9. Experience in Project Life Cycle from inception, analysis, development, testing and implementation (SDLC methodologies and Agile is preferred).
10. Be analytical and apply critical thinking toward examining systems and design requirements, open-minded and innovative in exploring new and alternative solutions to optimize systems, arriving at sound decisions and solutions.
11. Deep dive, problem solving, RCA and systemic thinking to reach the cause of issues.
12. A strong leader who is able to communicate his/her ideas persuasively and sustain positive relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
13. Experienced in working with and growing geo-distributed teams will be an advantage.
