Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work under the Regional Enterprise Architecture Department. He/She is responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and governance of AI and GenAI solutions. He/She will formulate the Organization’s AI/GenAI management, AI policies, and standards to support the short-term and long-term strategic plan, investment, and enterprise architecture roadmap. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with best practices, and driving the adoption of AI technologies across the organization.
Strategic Planning, Governance, Stakeholder Management:
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for AI and GenAI initiatives.
- Establish governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to governance policies.
- Engage with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and promote the benefits of AI technologies.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments.
AI/GenAI Development & Advisory:
- Identify and promote innovative use cases for AI and GenAI.
- Support the development of custom AI applications, models, and solutions.
- Work on functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures, in collaboration with other teams.
- Lead and develop chatbot (ChatGPT) and automation business flow using Microsoft technology stack such as MS OpenAI, AI Search, Power Platform, etc.
- Conduct evaluations of the Large Language Models provided by the key players in the market.
- Encourage experimentation and prototyping to drive digital transformation.
- Advise on a broad range of technology associated with AI.
Security and Risk Management:
- Implement security measures to protect data and AI models.
- Ensure that AI solutions adhere to security policies and standards.
Training and Enablement:
- Develop and deliver training programs to upskill employees on AI and GenAI tools.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to users and developers.
- Develop training material and provide tech talks to users.
- Foster a community of practice for sharing knowledge and best practices.
Support and Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for AI solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 12 years of related experience in the IT industry, with banking experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions.
- Professional certifications in Azure, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science.
- Bachelor's degree related to Artificial Intelligence or Data Science.
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of AI and GenAI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and generative models.
- Proficiency in using AI development frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Deep understanding of Azure Cloud, MS OpenAI, AI Search, Form Recognizer, ADLS, and Cosmos DB.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with LLMs such as GPT, Llama, Claude, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of agentic AI.
- Practical experience in defining MLOps and DataOps.
- Experience in REST API development, familiar with development frameworks such as Django, Express JS, Spring Boot, etc.
- Experience in modern data platforms, NoSQL database design, and RDBMS design and optimizations.
- Experience in data transformation/integration, BI, data analytics, reporting, and machine learning toolsets such as Talend, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
- Expertise in data analysis, data engineering, and statistical modeling.
Leadership and Management Skills:
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of AI architects and engineers.
- Experience in managing AI products, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Ability to engage with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to promote AI initiatives.
- Ability to develop and implement a strategic roadmap for AI and GenAI initiatives, understanding of business processes, and the ability to align AI solutions with business goals.
- Ability to identify and promote innovative use cases for AI and GenAI.
Governance and Compliance:
- Knowledge of AI governance frameworks and best practices for managing AI technologies.
- Ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with AI deployments.
Communication and Training:
- Ability to articulate the value and benefits of AI to stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs to upskill employees on AI technologies, creating a knowledge-sharing culture, and fostering a community of practice.
- Strong presentation, technical documentation, and project management skills.
Problem-Solving and Innovation:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation in AI solutions.
