Vice President, Security Solutions Organization (SSO), Government Segment
The Vice-President, Government Ecosystem Development will lead Mastercard’s efforts to increase engagements with governments across the Asia Pacific region and enhance the relevance of our security solutions offerings, which include solutions ranging from fraud prevention, anti-scam, cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and identity solutions. This role will also foster relationships through collaborations with international and multilateral organizations.
This role focuses on aligning Mastercard’s product, service, and ecosystem capabilities to strengthen our regional relevance to governments, support the sales of services, platforms, and solutions, and expand Mastercard's presence as the economy continues to digitize. The individual will be responsible for new growth opportunities in Mastercard’s business across the Asia Pacific region through strategic partnerships and projects with various governments, international NGOs, multilateral organizations, and public sector entities.
This senior role will be a part of the security solutions regional leadership team, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Security Solutions. The individual will be accountable for Mastercard’s overall engagement with governments in the region. They will lead conversations with senior government stakeholders, including at a senior civil servant to ministerial level, both to advocate for greater digital trust and drive Mastercard's involvement in impactful government projects. They will be accountable for the aforementioned business objectives and will lead cross-functional teams across the Mastercard organization to design, develop, and deliver on projects.
We are seeking an energetic and enterprising individual with a proven track record in ecosystem development and partnerships specifically with governments across Asia-Pacific. In addition to superior communication skills, a high degree of initiative and agility, as well as experience in technology and service delivery are pre-requisites. Demonstrating an actionable understanding of relevant public sector priorities, projects, and stakeholders, as well as experience in public policy and advocacy will be highly regarded.
