Candidates must have 6-10 years of relevant work experience in project / structured / acquisition finance within the Renewables space
Responsibilities would include:
Client coverage, origination, advisory and financing of transactions in the sector across asset classes such as offshore wind, floating solar, solar, onshore wind, LNG to power, amongst others
Maintain strong client relationships with all the key sector players in Asia
Dual responsibility to promote wider products of the bank in the sector such as DCM, M&A, sustainable finance
Deal origination: identify new opportunities across the region, prepare financial proposals, monitor market developments and opportunities, and liaise with various internal, external stakeholders (banks, advisors, legal firms, etc.) and clients as necessary
Deal execution: review/prepare credit paper and other related materials, lead the documentation and negotiation process, review financial models and guide junior staff members on the process, and oversee completion of all aspects of loan administration and execution until drawdown
Profile of ideal candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Good written and verbal communication skills
At least 6-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in project / structured / acquisition finance
Work experience in the Energy and Infrastructure space with direct experience in Renewable energy
Good understanding of loan documentation
Good transaction structuring skills and understanding of the credit process
Financial modelling skills
Ability to work independently on jobs assigned
Ability to guide and mentor junior members
Positive personality with strong work ethics
Independent, self-motivated and strong team player with the ability to work in a multicultural team
