Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides learning opportunities to foster and develop the professional competencies of employees in APAC.
  • Facilitates and executes strategic learning and development initiatives that will accelerate SMBC's competitive advantage.
  • Creates new training platforms, frameworks, content, and delivery methods to facilitate knowledge transfer in SMBC.
  • Conceptualizes, designs, and delivers learning solutions as part of the Training Needs Analysis cycle or in response to ad-hoc and bespoke requests from stakeholders.
  • Acts as program person-in-charge (PIC) and is accountable for courses assigned, ensuring quality, effectiveness, and relevancy to employees' needs and business priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in learning design, delivery, and evaluation of solutions and programmes in a mid to large-scale regional setup; working experience in the financial services industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience in designing and implementing corporate-wide initiatives and diverse learning solutions to build sustainable and future-ready employees.
  • Ability to perform analysis and identify metrics to track learning utilization and other relevant outcomes and impacts.
  • Experience in reviewing existing curriculum and initiatives to instill a self-directed learning culture.
  • Possess strong analytical and project management skills to manage and execute organization-wide learning initiatives and programmes.
  • Possess excellent facilitation and communication skills as well as strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Experience in coaching, employee engagement, and culture change, as well as profiling tools, will be advantageous.
