Vice President / Director, Network Solution Architect Lead

As Team Lead of Network Solution Architect, you will be accountable and lead the designing, implementing, and supporting network security solutions in the region (and some global initiatives) involving, but not limited to, SD WAN, Firewalls of different brands, secure Internet Gateway, LAN/WLAN, SASE, NAC and VPNs technologies in the APAC region.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for network transformation strategy and roadmap for regional network standard, solution, configuration and automation.
2. Evaluate new network solutions beneficial to the bank, developing network architecture and design suitable for deployment into production environment.
3. Leads the team of network solution architect and delivery experts to plan and deploy regional standardization in accordance with the specifications and service levels of business and/or system requirements.
4. Leads solutions and projects including designing, implementing, and supporting network solutions involving, but not limited to Routing & Switching, SD WAN, Firewalls, secure Internet Gateway, LAN/WLAN, SASE and automations technologies.
5. Collaborate with server and application teams in troubleshooting to identify root cause and for the completion of network security initiatives.
6. Support major incidents or changes when there is escalation from operation team, working with the related stakeholders and takes corrective/preventive actions.
7. Work with respective countries team members on the review of network architecture and design, troubleshooting, as well as to work on network and security infrastructure domain.
8. Create and update technical standards and architecture specifications.
9. Provide network architecture reviews, assessments and recommend remediation/enhancement to improve operational efficiency and compliant to existing IT policies and governance.
10. Prepare and present technical documentation. Ensure that the technical settings comply with company policy and regulatory requirements and work with stakeholders to align infrastructure direction.
11. Plan, communicate and coordinate with external vendors to ensure systems and applications are delivered in accordance with SLA.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in IT or closely related field with 8+ years of total experience in Network Operations, Implementation and Design with min. 5+ years of experience in Solution Planning, Design, Architecture, and Implementation.
2. Strong systems engineering skills with Network and Firewall architecture.
3. Experienced in leading team of network engineers in corporate environment, preferably FSIs.
4. Industrial certification: CCDE, CCIE (R&S or Security), CCNP or CCNSP, and ITIL.
5. In-depth technical experience and proficiency in deploying network system(s) implementation for large enterprise and data center routing switching environments.
6. Hands-on experience in implementation and setup of high-availability, multi-layer datacenter networks, Internet Gateway, VPN, ISE.
7. Experienced in Cisco Router and Switches (ASR, ISR, Nexus, Catalyst), advance IP routing and switching technologies, particularly BGP, SDWAN, OSPF, PBR, QOS, VRRP, VPC and VXLAN.
8. Experienced in Firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet and Palo Alto), Load balancers (F5).
9. Proficient in technical report writing and documentation.
10. Knowledge and experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) would be valuable.
11. Prior working experience as an IT professional in banking or financial institution is an advantage. Knowledge of industry technology trends.
12. Knowledge of IT security, Risk Management and Security Controls.
