Vessel Operator (CBD/$5K) NL (ID: 667826)

Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Vessel Operator.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Vessel operation of the Company's owned or chartered bulk carriers.
2. Drafting and preparation of documents such as voyage orders, loading and discharge instructions.
3. Liaising with vessels, ship managers, owners and charterers on the vessel itinerary and schedule.
4. Handling day to day operation issues, stowage plan and voyage instructions.
5. Working on CP and addendums, IMOS and TRANS entries.
6. Monitoring the performance of the vessels and the counterparties.
7. Settling of invoices with managers and charterers.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in Maritime or its equivalent.
2. 1 - 2 years of experience in dry bulk vessel operation.
3. Working experience from the Ship owner is preferable.
4. Understanding of BL’s and LOI, basic understanding of bulk cargo.
5. Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
