Vessel Accounts Executive (Central/ Max $4.3k + Bonus!)

Responsibilities:

1. Review and respond to expense reports from ship management companies (mainly handling about 5 vessels per month).
   • Verify the content and figures of expense reports received monthly from ship management companies, and inquire about any errors or uncertainties with them.
   • Confirm whether the expenses should be processed as owner's expenses and ensure the accuracy of the figures.
   • Generally, monthly reports are finalized each month to confirm vessel expenses.
   • Monthly confirmation is necessary to ensure timely closing of the fiscal year.
2. Invoice creation and delivery for vessel expenses.
3. Review and prepare invoices necessary for the company's payment processing (actual payment processing is handled by another accountant, so not required).
4. Prepare monthly profit and loss statements for each vessel. Submit profit and loss reports to the headquarters (submitted to headquarters staff for final submission to the chairman).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in ship expense budgeting or accounting-related tasks in a ship management company or ship owner.
