Vendor Contracts Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary Vendor Contracts Specialist to manage and oversee various aspects of vendor contracts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling preferred vendors, waivers of competition, and bulk purchase orders (POs) associated with budget line items. This role is crucial in ensuring that all vendor-related activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with company policies.

1. Preferred Vendors:
   • Creation of preferred vendors after obtaining the required approval.
   • Ensure all vendor contracts are up-to-date and compliant with company standards.
2. Waiver of Competition:
   • Process and review waiver of competition requests.
   • Ensure all waivers are justified and documented according to company policies.
   • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and address their needs.
3. Bulk Purchase Orders:
   • Handle bulk POs associated with budget line items, such as annual projected costs for uniforms.
   • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely processing of POs.

• Good understanding and experience in Procure to Pay processes.
• Good understanding and experience in accounts payable coding through purchasing ordering.
• Ability to identify repeated issues and implement solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of the business including C Suite level.
• Relentless pursuit of outcomes and results.
• Proficient in O365, experience with procurement or contract management software desirable as well as Jira or other related ticketing systems.
