Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Vendor and Contract Manager to be part of our Global Payments business with a big focus on driving strategic partnerships with PSPs, while continuing to strengthen the operational backbone and partner ecosystem.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and serve as the single point of contact for matters concerning contract review and management (e.g. end-to-end contract lifecycle business timeline management) for all internal stakeholders (e.g., Relationship Manager, Legal, Compliance, Operation, Finance, PMO, etc.) and external parties (e.g., payment partners, vendors, customers), including reviewing, communicating and presenting information to stakeholders on contract-related matters; consolidating and assessing comments received from all stakeholders to amend and finalize contracts and solving any contract-related problems externally and internally.
  • Work with Payment & Financial Partnership team to meet with external contracting parties and negotiate contract terms and provide a beneficial solution for both the company and the external contracting party.
  • Work with Senior Legal & Compliance Counsel by consolidating and providing comments from various stakeholders for legal review and amendment of contract terms.
  • Responsible for complying with Global Payment business contract management and execution process, including updating the commercial arrangement checklist & guideline, onboarding contract counterparty, obtaining sign-off from all stakeholders on contract terms and submitting contracts to the contract management system as well as ensuring contracts to be duly signed by the counterparties according to business timelines.
  • Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension or renewal.
  • Provide guidance and advice to the business units relating to contract generation, negotiation and contract requirements. Make sure all contract requirements are fulfilled.
  • Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress.
  • Identify opportunities to improve contracting processes and devise plans to implement these changes.

Requirements:

  • Min. Diploma with 5 years & above of legal/contract management related experience in international law firm or financial services or fintech preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to payment services, fintech, or financial services operations.
  • Solution oriented, target oriented, problem solver, motivated self-starter with strong multi-task handling and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Familiar with Funds Flow chart, diagram, etc.
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin, with good written and verbal communication skills in both languages as one needs to manage our English and Chinese-speaking stakeholders, Vendors, Payment Partners, etc.
