The Opportunity

• Support to day-to-day monitoring, operation and preventive maintenance of electrical installation and utility equipment.
• Support execution of routine and non-routine Work Order activities.
• Monitor facilities and utilities systems via BAS/PCS and attend to alarms upon request.
• Provides support to utility services during shutdown maintenance work; and product switch-over in support of plant operations.
• Perform first level troubleshooting and maintenance to Electrical distribution e.g electrical low voltage circuit tripping / reset, lighting repair services, VFD drive fault etc.
• Provide co-ordination with external contractors to perform RSTO maintenance work activities. Example escort / oversight of Singapore Power grid Engineer on site for metering reading or services to their equipment in their installation.
• Maintaining Utilities Area / Electrical Substation / MCC Room in Operational Audit Readiness.
• Follow up on Safety audit action items and corrective improvement action items.
• Support RSTO energy saving initiatives / Sustainability Program.
• Meet site’s EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) performance objectives through compliance via EHS safety regulation.
• Carries out any other work and task as directed by Team Leader or Engineer.

Who You Are

• Diploma / NITEC in Electrical Engineering or a Relevant Technical Education.
• Experience and knowledge in Electrical safety best practices is an added advantage.
• Good inter-personal skill, communication skills, and computer software skill. SAP system knowledge is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, independent and initiative.
• Willing to perform multiple and cross-functional tasks.
• Be able to work on ad-hoc call in or weekend upon request.
