[UT25B] Untrained Teacher / Education Officer - PGDE

As teachers, you build the foundation of education. You equip students with essential skills and sound values to prepare them for life. Anticipate a career of lifelong learning, as you grow alongside your students.

We are looking for individuals with subject content knowledge and good communication skills to deliver the school curriculum effectively. Applicants will need to have good personal attributes for teaching and a willingness to learn; in addition to the ability to inculcate sound moral values and relate to the young. Applicants should also have the fitness and stamina to deliver lessons, and resilience required to engage students safely and carry out their duties effectively.

In addition, applicants should possess one of the following entry qualifications to meet the requirements for pre-service teacher training at the National Institute of Education (NIE):

• University degree; or
• Equivalent qualifications

The application window is open from 4 February 2025 to 24 February 2025. If you would like to be considered for a teaching position under the PGDE programme, you are required to:

• Go to the Careers@Gov job post at www.moe.gov.sg/teach2025
• Click "Apply Now" in Careers@Gov to fill in the FormSG application form.
• Indicate your preferred teaching subjects.
• Attach all your educational transcripts along with your application. If you have not received your official transcripts, you can submit your latest transcripts at point of application.

You will need to submit your application by 24 Feb 2025, 11.00 PM. Only applications received via the FormSG application form will be considered.
