The role: User Support Specialist, HR Operations - Singapore

Google's known for our innovative technologies, products, and services -- and for the people behind them. You are focused on cultivating outstanding candidates for Google's long-term hiring needs, and work across a cross-functional and international group of staffing teams.

Additional Role Description:

People Operations (POps) Central is a new organization set up to provide horizontal services to the enablement of People Operations. Our mission is ‘To power People Ops to create exceptional experience.’ HR Operations is a key pillar within POps Central. This team creates simple and exceptional experiences at scale for Googlers and Candidates.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver above and beyond operational excellence, in line with assigned service targets, identifying opportunities to improve and scale.
  2. Resolve and prioritize complex or sensitive user issues through consultation with vendors and deep collaboration with partner support.
  3. Implement and execute on service delivery improvements and new process/scope changes, including vendor activities.
  4. Act as the voice of the user, surfacing relevant user feedback to Partner Support.
  5. Develop deep expertise in the systems supporting HR Operations service areas.

Minimum qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, related field or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 5 years of experience working within a complex, scaled environment.
  3. Experience in a customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Proven ability for excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including high levels of empathy.
  2. Outstanding operational mindset to deliver services rigorously.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
