Urgent! Facilities Engineer (Up to 5.2k / FSM Certified / ISO 14001)

Job Description:

1. Ensure compliance to legal requirements pertaining to environment, factory and facilities.

2. Responsible for all matters relating to the maintenance of the building facilities and HSE aspects.

3. Manage all essential services such as security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, recycling, landscaping, pest control and utilities.

4. Ensures emergency response systems, policies and procedures are in place to manage emergency situations.

5. Carry out minor repairs / troubleshooting works and breakdown maintenance works.

6. Maintains all necessary training and licensing to function as a signing authority on all HSE matters.

7. Manage contractors and service providers to carry out facility upgrading / maintenance activities.

8. Ensure proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety and security equipment such as CCTVs, access entry, etc.

9. Plan factory layout to optimize utilization of space and resources.

10. Organize monthly safety meetings and ensure that all lapses and breaches are rectified.

11. Assists in all aspects of incident investigation including verifying root cause and implementation of preventive actions.

12. Maintain paperwork in relation to building, maintenance and facilities.

13. Implement safety awareness campaigns and improvements.

14. Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Degree or Diploma in Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

2. Fire Safety Manager Certification required

3. Factory legal requirements, environment management system and associated practices. Basic knowledge on local environmental laws. Familiar with ISO 14001 requirements.
