Urgent! Accounts Executive / Accountant - (Construction)_cp1

(WEST REGION) - Tanjong Kling Road

(Company transport provided, pick up from Jurong East and CCK)

1 Year contract, but convertible to permanent (Both are new Headcount)

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, including reviewing and posting of all journal entries.
• Ensure that Account Receivable/Payables Sub Ledgers reconcile with the General Ledger and that bank accounts match bank statements.
• Prepare monthly and yearly management reporting packages, including financial statements, relevant schedules, and perform variance analysis on the financial performance.
• Prepare information and schedules as requested by the Parent company.
• Prepare and file all requisite regulatory and tax submissions, i.e., CIT, GST, WHT, COR, transfer pricing.
• Prepare analysis on budget and forecast.
• Prepare government surveys.
• Liaise with external audit teams and tax consultants to compile requisite schedules and information (including ECI, annual tax filing, tax queries).
• Advise AR/AP on the correct GL account code and GST code entries.
• (For Accountant only) - Oversee the Accounts Staff in the Customer master creation, billing, collection, contra, SOA, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
• Monitor debtor's aging and ensure Accounts Executive follows up on collections.
• Participate in systems changes, testing, implementation, and other projects when required.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• SAP is a must.
• Relevant accounting certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
