The client is one of the prominent organizations in the education sector with a proven track record and stable growth in Singapore. Now, it is looking to hire an experienced Unix Administrator with strong shell scripting experience to be part of their IT team. The office location is in the eastern part of Singapore.

This administrator will be responsible for both support and automation development with strong utilization of shell scripting. You will be part of the internal IT support team in an international school setting, with a primary focus on Apple Macintosh/MacOS environment.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven track record with at least 6 to 8 years of Unix administration experience including strong shell scripting. Individuals with education industry experience will be highly desirable.
• Good ability to work in a lean team setup.
• Must have prior work experience with family-owned businesses and/or local MNCs.
• Good work exposure with Apple Macintosh technologies environment including Macs, MacOS, iPads, and associated peripherals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
