UI/UX Lead

Job Description:

Our client is a fast-growing fintech company revolutionizing financial services through technology, innovation, and user-centric design. They offer digital-first solutions in areas such as payments, lending, investment, and personal finance, with a mission to empower individuals and businesses through smarter financial tools. Currently, they are seeking a creative, data-driven, and strategic UI/UX Lead to drive the user experience and interface design of their core fintech products. This person will lead the design team and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to build intuitive, scalable, and delightful user experiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the UI/UX vision, design principles, and product experience strategy across web and mobile platforms.
• Lead and mentor a team of UX/UI designers, ensuring high-quality output aligned with user and business goals.
• Establish and maintain a cohesive design system and component library for consistent branding and usability.
• Translate complex business requirements and user needs into wireframes, prototypes, and final visual designs.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to develop and refine product features with user-centric design.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and optimize user journeys.
• Act as a key voice of the user within product discussions, advocating for intuitive design and seamless interactions.
• Partner with front-end developers to ensure pixel-perfect execution of designs.
• Align design efforts with compliance, accessibility, and performance standards.
• Stay updated on the latest design tools, fintech UI trends, and best practices.
• Continuously push the boundaries of user experience to differentiate the company in the market.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of UI/UX experience, with at least 2 years in a design leadership or lead role.
• Proven track record designing consumer-facing fintech or digital products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX process, interaction design, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
• Deep understanding of responsive design, mobile-first UI, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
