UI/UX Designer

About The Team

In Shopee, we adopt a customer-first philosophy when designing our products to create a seamless online shopping experience for our sellers. We are looking for UI/UX designers to join us in adopting a user-centric approach when designing some of our core e-commerce features, to improve sellers' experience and revenues, like listing products, managing inventory, monitoring performance, and efficiently managing customers through the platform. You will collaborate with a cross-functional, highly capable team of designers, product managers, and engineers to analyze seller behaviors and identify opportunities in a dynamic environment.

Job Description

1. Collaborate closely with our seller services team to conceptualize and design B2B products that address specific market needs.
2. Refine visual designs, UI/UX prototypes, and product specifications with a clear focus on enhancing user experience and client satisfaction.
3. Engage in design thinking processes to solve complex challenges and contribute innovative solutions to our products.
4. Stay abreast of the latest trends in design and emerging industries to ensure our products remain competitive and relevant.

Requirements

1. 0-3 years (junior) or 3-5+ years (senior) of internet design work experience.
2. Experience in B2B project design or relevant internship/work experience is preferred.
3. Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
4. Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and creative abilities.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Strong logical thinking skills and ability to solve complex design challenges.
7. Interest in and awareness of emerging industries and technologies.
8. Proficiency in English and Chinese (conversant) to facilitate cross-border discussions and collaborations with stakeholders from China.
