UI/UX Designer

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• User Research: Conduct research to identify user needs, preferences, and challenges, utilizing data-driven insights to guide design choices.
• Wireframing/Mockups: Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively visualize and communicate design concepts within set timelines.
• Design: Create visually appealing and responsive user interfaces that align with design principles, branding standards, and industry best practices.
• Audience Understanding and Enhancements: Focus on improving user interactions and workflows, ensuring applications are intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable.
• Feedback Gathering: Organize and execute usability testing sessions to collect feedback and make iterative design enhancements.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design concepts are practical and align with project objectives.
• Maintenance: Help develop and maintain a design system to ensure consistency and scalability across all applications.
• Staying Current: Keep abreast of industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to enhance and innovate the design process.

Candidate Qualities:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in arts or design, or equivalent professional experience as a UX/UI designer.
• 2-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with proficiency in various graphic software.
• A strong portfolio showcasing design projects.
• Familiarity with wireframe tools (e.g., Wireframe.cc, InVision).
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong time-management abilities.

To be proficient in: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Jira.

Desirable skills: Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
