UI/UX Designer

Job Summary

As HipVan's UI/UX Designer, you will help to design an amazing user experience on our website and mobile apps, focused on our new content led shopping experience project. You should be a specialist in good user-centered design for a digital product, and have a keen eye for details with a data-driven approach.

Job Description

1. Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
2. Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
3. Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
4. Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
5. Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
6. Work closely with our Creative Director to implement our branding guidelines
7. Passionate about understanding current and emerging UX/UI trends
8. Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS design capabilities
9. Fluent in responsive design, mobile/tablet UI UX

Requirements

1. Passionate in creating the best experience for our customers
2. Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
3. Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
4. Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
5. Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think out of the box
6. Have good attention to detail and an eye for good composition and layout
7. A self-starter, proactive and hands-on approach. Get it done right and fast!
8. Dedicated to deadlines and have excellent time-management to always be on schedule
9. Highly organized and motivated, a team player and fast learner
